What the Service is

Ticker Lab ("the Service") is a statistical and analytical information-technology tool that aggregates publicly available content from third-party Indian financial publications. It mechanically extracts mentions of stock symbols and any prices appearing in those articles, groups them for analytical convenience, and presents them alongside links back to the original sources.

What the Service is NOT

  • The Service is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an Investment Adviser under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, or as a Research Analyst under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014.
  • The Service does not provide investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or trading recommendations of any kind.
  • The Service does not recommend, endorse, promote, or rate any specific security, transaction, broker, or investment strategy.
  • The presence of a stock in the Service's output, any consensus indicators (for example, "4 sources mentioning"), and any displayed entry, target, or stop-loss prices are purely mechanical aggregations of public, third-party content. They are not the Operator's opinion, they are not endorsements of accuracy or appropriateness, and they are not predictions of future price movement.

Source attribution

Every output card and table row links directly to the original source article. The Service does not claim ownership of, copyright over, or affiliation with any of the publications, brokerages, investors, or strategists displayed. All trademarks, names, and content belong to their respective owners and are referenced solely for attribution.

Data accuracy

The Operator makes reasonable effort to extract and present information accurately. However, the user should be aware that:

  • Mechanical extraction of stock symbols, prices, and source attribution may contain errors.
  • Article headlines and summaries may misrepresent the underlying source.
  • Source publications may themselves contain errors or biases, or may later be corrected or retracted.
  • Prices, targets, and stop-losses change rapidly; information published even an hour ago may already be out of date.

The Operator makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any information presented through the Service. The user is solely responsible for verifying all information against the original source before acting on it.

Responsibilities of the user

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You will independently verify every number, name, and item of information against the linked original source before acting on it.
  • You will make all investment decisions independently, or in consultation with a SEBI-registered investment adviser of your own choosing.
  • You understand that trading in securities, including derivatives, carries a substantial risk of loss, and that the past performance of any security is not indicative of future returns.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of, or in connection with, the use of — or inability to use — the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, trading losses, or loss of data, even if the Operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Eligibility and jurisdiction

The Service is intended for use by adults (18 years or older) located in India. By creating an account and using the Service, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements. Any dispute arising out of, or relating to, the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kollam, Kerala.

The Operator may update this disclaimer at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on file. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
